It has committed to provide $1 trillion in targeted lending for 10 million homes by the end of the decade. Fannie Mae Investment Brings Equity to Senior Housing
Some of the most challenging efforts, and yet the most rewarding, are efforts that seek to house senior citizens. Las Casitas de Merced, in Somerset, Texas. aims to keep senior housing affordable. To this end, Fannie Mae invested $1,075,000 of equity to construct Las Casitas de Merced, a new 28 unit elderly housing development in South Bexar County. The project is developed by Merced Housing Inc.
