MILE-HI SKYDIVING CENTER is the Rocky Mountain region's TOP-RANKED and largest skydiving facility. We are the only school within 100 miles of the Denver-Boulder area (12 miles from Boulder and 25 from Denver). We also have the only full-time twin engine jet-prop aircraft within a several state area.
We are Colorado's training specialists. We skydive next to the mountains, providing you an unrivaled skydiving experience!! The place to make your first SKYDIVE! First time skydivers are invited to make the leap, with a Tandem Fun Jump being the fastest, easiest, and safest way to jump.
MILE-HI is located at Hangar 34G at the Longmont airport, approximately 12 miles northeast of Boulder. These are the newest and nicest skydiving facilities in the region. YOU deserve the BEST!! We skydive year-round on weekends, and Wednesday through Sunday during daylight savings time (you may call us 7 days a week for appointments) . We are proud to be a United States Parachute Association (USPA) enhanced group member and have highly qualified, nationally licensed instructors. Also we are the only school in Colorado to use the most sophisticated safety equipment available on ALL of our parachute equipment!
For experienced skydivers the environment is friendly, with plenty of helpful jumpers interested in all disciplines - RW, Freefly, Freestyle, Skysurfing, and CReW.
MILE-HI has expanded their facilities each year at the Longmont Airport, and has even more new hangar space this year! Our landing area is huge, on the south side of the 4800' runway. Amenities at MILE-HI include: indoor packing (heated and cooled), an outdoor grass packing area, two classrooms, video editing and rigging rooms, loads displayed on TV for jumpers via computerized manifest, two nice indoor bathrooms, 100' x 35' of concrete to creeper on, and a paved road to the hangar.
