Looking Ahead to 2005 - JUSTICE ALIVE!!

President's Day weekend,
Sunday February 20 & Monday February 21, 2005, PHCC will be hosting a UCC Rocky Mountain Conference event - Justice Alive!  Put these dates on your calendar.  A keynoter from the UCC National office will be with us.  There will be exciting, in-depth workshops on racial justice, criminal justice reform, GLBT concerns, and many, many other justice issues of crucial importance to our community and church.  This is a great opportunity for us all.  We will also be asking for your help in hosting this event.  After the new year, we hope folks will come forward to work on hospitality (continuous coffee breaks), meals, logistics, and recruiting folks to host people in their homes. Also, of course, you are all invited to attend.  Youth are especially invited.  Cost is only $30, which includes three meals, and the church will provide scholarships as needed.  Look for more exciting information about Justice Alive! in the future issues of the Congregationalist.
