SWEETS BAZAAR- SUNDAY, DEC. 12 after church

The annual SWEETS BAZAAR will be after church on Sunday, December 12, following the children's Christmas pageant.  This year all proceeds will go to support Sally's House, part of the Yezelalem Minch children's homes established in Ethiopia by Sally Tague's family.  Look for more information on this in the coming weeks.
Make and bring your favorite holiday goodies - breads, cookies, candy, nuts, etc, etc.  Please list the ingredients (for the sake of those with dietary no-nos), but do not price them.

Cooking not your strong point?  Come and buy!  Your family will be happy and the children in Ethiopia will benefit, too.

CHILDREN'S STORE OPEN DEC. 12 - ITEMS SOUGHT

Each year, PHCC opens the Children's Store so that young ones in our church can inexpensively purchase presents for family members and friends. This year, the store will be open after worship on December 12 In the meantime, we are looking for small gift item donations for the store such as knickknacks, books, games, decorative figures, scarves, ties, etc. We are also seeking leftover holiday paper and trimmings so that the gifts chosen can be wrapped, with help from older youths.  These items can be brought to the church office at any time before Dec. 12. Thank you. The Store will be open in the large classroom for children to shop in after worship.

Christmas Poinsettias To Beautify
The Sanctuary

It's time once again to purchase your poinsettias, which will  decorate the sanctuary during the Christmas season. Available this year will be 18 RED and 9 WHITE plants -- each in a container wrapped in colored foil for $10.00. Sign up for yours in the narthex. You may take yours home following the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service (or leave it here, if you wish!). You may dedicate a poinsettia  in memory or in honor of loved ones; please put those names on the sign-up sheet as well, and we'll include them in the Christmas Eve bulletin.
